"Kind and sympathetic treatment. I would highly recommend the treatment by a Laserase Clinic", Sally Heathfield, London

Everything we do is monitored by the appropriate professional bodies

The use of lasers and light for cosmetic treatments has recently been deregulated. From 1st October 2010 the restriction on who can operate class 4 lasers and IPL equipment has been removed - so it’s important to realise that not all practitioners are equally capable or conscientious.

Laser tattoo removal is a skilled process that should be performed by experts who follow the correct procedures and understand the safety implications of using Giga-Watt lasers. Tattoo removal treatments using the correct lasers are effective, but the risks of complications and scarring are increased if you don’t go to a practitioner who maintains the highest possible standards.

All Laserase clinics are registered with the Care Quality Commission (and the Health Commission in Scotland, or the Health Inspectorate for Wales).  The Care Quality Commission is the Government Regulator that oversees all NHS and private facilities offering medical procedures. It governs and inspects registered facilities on a regular basis. Not all clinics offering tattoo removal with lasers are registered, and may even be operating illegally, or without valid insurance - to find out more, go tob www.cqc.org.uk

If you are unhappy about any aspect of our service, or that of any other laser/IPL provider, you have a right to complain to the service provider and have that complaint properly dealt with. You also have a right to complain directly to the CQC who have a legal duty to follow up any complaint that you make against a registered provider; however, the CQC have no remit to intervene with an unregulated provider.  So, why take a chance when you can be sure of the safety and quality of service by going to a Laserase clinic?
